As William and I prepare for our flight to Copenhagen-Malmö, we couldn’t help channeling our inner gambler and taking a stop at our second favourite site (after wiwibloggs) oddschecker.com

The rankings remain the same as before, but Denmark is really pulling ahead, with odds narrowing to as low as 6/4 and as high as 9/4. “Gravity” has also worked its magic on Zlata and pulled Ukraine’s odds down below Mother Russia, with odds narrowing to as low as 11/5 and as high as 7/2. Russia’s cheese-fest has distanced slightly, but remains tightly behind Ukraine, and rocker-turned-melancholic-ballad-singer Anouk rounds out the Top 4 with odds that are distancing as high as 12/1. (Have y’all watched her sex commercial yet?)

Now, I’m not a professional statistician, but it’s slightly odd that Denmark’s odds to win Semi-Final 1 are actually higher than her odds to win the whole thing. Surely the professional bookmakers have made a mistake, because a whole lot of money can be made on that fact!

What do you all think?  Are the odds realistic?  Or are the bookies smoking crack?

I personally think Serbia will win, only because of the draw.
Denmark, Russia, Ukraine and the Netherlands are all stacked together.
Belarus, Moldova and Ireland are all stacked together.
These seven plus Serbia are all favoured to qualify.
However Serbia is performing last after poor entries from Cyprus and Belgium.
I think Serbia will win with strong Balkan support as well.

Half of the bookies have their head on straight, and the other half must be high.
