Every year the Eurovision press corps submit their predictions about who will win Eurovision.
This year’s display in the press room is seriously ghetto. It’s literally pieces of paper stuck to a white board. But even more surprising and shocking are the actual results. Sweden polar ice-cap cracking Robin Stjernberg came out on top, with the Georgian duo of Nodi & Sophie in second and Denmark’s Emmelie de Forest taking third.
France, Azerbaijan, the Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, Ukraine and Finland round out the Top 10. And here’s another shocker — atrocious Armenia and sucky Spain came in 25th and 26th, respectively.
Now, the fact that Sweden is on top can be erased, because it is merely the result of thousands of volunteers throwing their country’s name on top. This happens almost every year. But what was more surprising was to see Thomas G:son’s love ballad from Georgia finish in second; although the Wiwi Jury rated this well, our own fan poll put it toward the very bottom.
What do you think? Who is right? And who is smoking dope?
