Anggun Cipta — a staple of Paris fashion shows and our favourite Asian singer at Eurovision 2012 — has gone global. And we’re not just talking about her illustrious solo career. On August 24 she’ll judge “X Factor Around the World”, a one-off special produced by Indonesia’s Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI) to celebrate its 24th anniversary. Yes, they are celebrating 24 as opposed to 20 or 25!

The international contest will bring together winners and runners-up of X Factor series in the Australia, the U.S., the U.K. and Indonesia. Performers include Melanie Amaro, Samantha Jade, The Collective, Jahmene Douglas, Fatin Shidqia, and Novita Dewi. The judging panel—who won’t actually do any judging—consists of Paula Abdul, Anggun, Daniel Bedingfield, Ahmad Dhani and Louis Walsh. We are loving the trailer.

Anggun, you’ll remember, was named a judge of the Indonesian version of X Factor last December. Here she is performing on the series.

Here’s the official poster for the event.
