Danny Saucedo is used to performing for queens. But yesterday was a special day because he finally performed for real royalty (and the parliament of Sweden and his parents) in the Stockholm Concert Hall. He performed alongside the Royal Swedish Philharmonic and sang his version of Michael Jackson’s hit ‘Man in the Mirror’ in honor of King Carl XVI’s 40th anniversary on the throne.

Apparently, his greatest inspiration is Michael Jackson, which you wouldn’t neccessarily discern from his musical opus. Maybe he’s hiding something behind his smile and pompadour?!

Here’s what he wrote on his Instagram profile this morning:

I’m honored to be a part of the artist league that got the privilege of performing for the Royal Family, the entire parliament of Sweden and my beloved parents. It’s a dream come true to stand in the Stockholm Concert Hall with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonics and perform Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror” powered up by the amazing gospel choir LAcoeur.

It’s not the first time he’s been the royal minion: he premiered the wedding version of “Amazing” in front of the royal family and performed with his band E.M.D. at Princess Victoria’s wedding in 2010. We can’t wait for him and Molly’s wedding!

Has Danny became the royal bitch? Would you like to see him at your wedding? As a bridegroom or special guest??
