Hot off her new found Eurovision success, Margaret Berger tweeted some marvelous news to her fans today: she signed a contract with the major US electronic dance music record label Ultra Records.

This is great and well deserved for the Norwegian electro-pop princess, especially if we consider that Ultra Records is the label who signed such dance royalty names like Avicii, Benny Benassi, David Guetta, Deadmau5, Fedde le Grand, Freemasons, Calvin Harris, Inna, Alexandra Stan, and Despina Vandi. So she’s going to be in fabulous company!

Margaret Berger found Scandinavian fame by finishing second on Norwegian Idol 2004 and shot to European stardom with a fourth place result on Eurovision 2013 singing “I Feed You My Love”. She recently launched her excellent new single “Human Race” off her third studio album , “New Religion”, which is expected to drop later this autumn. The fact that she now signed with Ultra Records means that her market is expanding exponentially and we are waiting for her to explode on the US music scene.

Gratulerer, Margaret!

I hope it goes well for her.

When my sister is listening to her singles, I’ll be like, “Hey, Eurovision isn’t too crap now, is it?”

Ultra Records sure makes it feel like there’s only one US dance label. They sign pretty much everybody! But yes, this will help Margaret out a lot.

Congrats! I can’t wait to say that I knew who Margaret Berger and Adelen were before they made it big in the States.
