All y’all can get back to wrapping your Christmas gifts. Speculation that Valentina Monetta would present her Eurovision 2014 song this evening on Tombola di Natale was just that: speculation.
Instead Miss Monetta demonstrated that she knows how to blend and plays well with others. That’s right, people: she sang a duet! It was a slightly old-fashioned number, but one that was appropriate for the holidays. As always Valentina’s voice was a lovely mix of classic and modern, powerful but soft.
Naturally this raises the question of whether Val will be singing a duet at Eurovision. In our recent interview in London she said that she might enter a festival with a duet, but it seemed like this would be at a duet in an Italian competition, not Eurovision.
