The Greek band Melisses are very thankful for their fans. Speaking to iNewsgr.com, the group’s lead singer Christos Mastoras recently said that without people’s love and support, they wouldn’t have accomplished anything. He also spoke about the possibility of representing Greece at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

“We will for sure watch the Eurovision, but we are not sure if it will see us,” Mastoras said. “We do not know if we could even participate at the national final. It depends on the song and the proposal itself”.

We don’t know if that means they are preparing a song. What we do know is that the band plans to host a wedding for Mastoras, who will soon wed Courtney Parker, a 28-year old pop singer who is featured in the video clip the band recently released.

The band participated in the Greek national final in 2010 and placed second. Their song “Kinezos” (Chinese) went on to climb the charts. Last year they had the honour to sing along with Serbia’s only-ever Eurovision winner Marija Serifovic at “Eurosong 2013- a MAD show”.

No Aprodisiac/Opa silly dancing and no Sakis doing sexy shake shake moves while trying so sing and breathe at the same … no yelling heys and no secret combinations … nahhh unless these five dudes promise a strip tease there is no way ESC fans want Greece to send this to Copenhagen. It’s Greece man … the life saving boat for many fans that assures that the party in all its trashiness is still on top and that all alcoholic drinks are still for free.

Please no. I’d actually love to see Eleftheria with her new song, even though I doubt that’d happen, but I would like a female artist. I really cannot deal with bands like this so please no.
