Last November French broadcaster France 3 told us that delicious boy band Destan, funksters Twin Twin or diva Joanna Lagrave would be singing for France at Eurovision 2014. Today they revealed the song titles that each act will be competing with during the national selection on Les Chansons d’abord on January 26.

Naturally Destan (pictured above) are going to be singing a song called “Sans Toi” (Without You). We can already hear the girls screaming.

Twin Twin, which likes to throw down rap mixed with reggae and rock, will be singing “Moustache.” I imagine they’ll grow some ‘staches for us if they win. Movember in May, anyone?

Joanna will be singing “Ma liberté” (My Freedom). She loves a good power ballad—and a cover of Whitney Houston—so expect something big.

While we wait for their Eurovision songs, let’s enjoy a Destan cover of One Direction.

And while we’re at in, Twin Twin is in ‘da house, y’all!

And nous ne pouvons pas oublier our girl Joanna.

My analysis without hearing the songs. Destan will be a cheap copy of one direction, and the laughing stock in Europe. Never copy an original. Twin Twin – a joke entry? done and tried too many times. Unless it is super good, it will probably find the same fate of other joke entries that are not en vogue anymore. If it is rap, it is even worse. But maybe it is not. Joanna Lagrave – she seems to be the only hope for the French to seriously present something that has some true value. A good voice, and if the… Read more »

1) There is nothing wrong with being gay 2) It is bad to be boring (all other ESC sites). 3) I think TWIN TWIN ARE HOT!!!!

@Mika Destan will end up doing a DNASH, a joke act from France never does well (Sebastian) so Twin Twin is out, the best choice would be to send Joanna, a huge power ballad – but who knows perhaps it’s a rebellious song – could do very well for France.

@Mika Joanna and Amandine are the same type of singer. Amandine did NOT do well so to send her is not the good idea you think it to be

Destan are too cookie cutter. Seen it already.

Twin Twin are unique, fun and don’t take themselves seriously. I love them. I think the press will two once Copenhagen arrives

@Dhani, first of all I’m pretty sure you mean stereotype, not prejudice. Also, you can’t help being gay so why does it matter? Why do all of your comments have to be negative?

Joanna should win if France is trying to do this seriously. Twin Twin would work as a novelty act. Destan is just the French copy of One Direction shit.

Only the one in the middle of the photo is delicious. The others are not appetizing to me!
