The semi-final of Finland’s #umk14 is now complete. We’re sad to say that Dennis Fagerström (“My Little Honey Bee”) and Jasmin Michaela (“Kertakäyttösydän”) have been eliminated. The following six acts have advanced to next week’s final.

Mikko Pohjola with “Sängyn Reunalla”

They’ll face Softengine (“Something Better”) and Hanna Sky (“Hope”) who advanced directly to the final during heats one and two. Who are you supporting?

But before you answer, let’s remember those acts going home. This was painful to watch.

Lauri and Jasmin were told that one of them would be going home…

Unfortunately it was Jasmin….

And Dennis and Clarissa & Josh were told the same thing. Clarissa looked like she was about to give birth!

But it was Dennis who was sent home.

So sad to see Jasmin go. Her singing style reminded me of a Jpop artist I used to like when I was younger. I’m hoping for a Softengine win!

Sad to see Dennis go, but I can see why it was needed & Jasmin was out of place so, that’s fair. Miau seem to be there for the shock and attention lol. I’m hoping for a Softengine win 🙂 Or Mikko :3

So, my favorite is out. So sad for Dennis! JK, no one liked him. But the Finns lost out on a great, catchy, energetic pop song that probably would have made the Copenhagen final.

Now that Jasmin is out, I root for Hukka Ja Mama.

My fav is really Mikko Pohjola… Hannah Sky is just a Loreen/Emmelie rip-off, we had enough of that now =)

Well..if Jasmin is out, then it must be Hanna Sky for Finland.

With first version of her song (performance for jury) Jasmin will go to final.
Miau sing so much better this time than in first heat. I hope they sing in final like they sing on performance for jury.
My TOP 5 in final
1. Lauri Mikkola
2. MIAU
3. Softengine
4. Clarissa feat. Josh Standing
5. Mikko Pohjola

But i think result wiil be
1. Hukka ja Mama
2. Softengine
3. MadCraft
4. Hanna Sky
5. Lauri Mikkola

Oh, also, after seeing Jasmin’s performance I’m not surprised to see her get eliminated. I liked the song, but her live vocals were terrible, along with the overall presentation (what was she wearing???). I’m not surprised or sad to see Dennis go, his song was terrible and it shouldn’t of even made the semi-final.

Really sad to see Jasmin eliminated 🙁 Now the only song I’ll be rooting for is ‘Hope.’

The two songs I liked the least eliminated. I’m definitely very pleased with these results! I could have lived with Jasmin in and Clarrisa out but I’ll take it.
