Unser Star Für Dänemark is approaching, and the contestants are gearing up to step into Cascada’s high heals. Following a huge response from wildcard hopefuls, and after Unheilig released the snippet of their song “Als War’s Das Erste Mal”, the time has come for other contestants to reveal a small piece of their master plan for your listening pleasure.
Eight artists will participate in the competition with two songs each. Seven are established artists, who have already been revealed. The eighth is the wildcard participant, who will be chosen in a separate contest.
The Baseballs, Germany’s answer to Elvis Presley, have released a snippet of their song “Mo Hotta Mo Betta”. Smooth down your pompadours—we’re getting back to ’50s!
Universal Music Group’s baby, Madeleine Juno, has revealed her first song, which is entitled “Like Lovers Do”. This lady is not mainstream, so she has actually released her song in full.
Das Gezeichnete Ich’s entry is entitled “Weil Du Da Bist”, which means “Because you’re there”. Their second song will be released later on.
Oceana, the most famous singer to ever come from Martinique, has revealed the snippet for one of her two songs. The song is entitled “Thank you.” You’re welcome!

Could Madeline be the dark horse? 😀 I love her too. I heard about Error too, but I don’t know if it’s true that it’s competing??? It does sound like another great National Final for Germany. :D!! I just wanna hear the full of Unheilig’s song, dangit 😛
After seeing all the comments, I checked out Madeleine’s song, and it’s certainly something that could do quite well in Eurovision. I could even see it winning.
Good song Madeleine is bringing to this contest. Keeping it real simple. If she qualifies for the ESC, I think Germany might have a shot at finishing in the top 5.
OMG. Just think about it. Madeleine on the Eurovision stage. Singing live with her guitar. It would be amazing. Very strong contender.
Anyways, it seems like Unser Star fur Denmark is gonna be great this year. With all these good songs, Germany will score in the Top 10 for sure.
I don’t think Cascada was bad, but compared to Madeline it’s just another flop. Madeline’s name needs to be printed on the back of the Eurovision CD this year. It just needs to be longer…

I’m pretty sure Madeline also revealed that Error would be competing. Am I wrong?
Unheilig are going to be unstoppable, IMO, at least with the televoters.
Madeline’s song is just beautiful. She’s hands down my favourite. I don’t think any of the other songs could be more amazing than hers. Honestly, I think that song has winning potential and definitely the potential to bring Germany back to the Top 10 after the disaster that was Cascada.
