Eurovision in Concert, the hottest pre-Eurovision event, is going retro. They’ve secured an apperance by Holland’s 1986 Eurovision contestants Frizzle Sizzle. The group, who placed 13th with their song “Alles heeft ritme”, split in 1989, but they’ll make a one-off comeback at this year’s event. We cannot wait to hear them live…even if we will be sitting near the fire extinguishers. If someone lights a match, all their hairspray is going to ignite a fire!

Last year Carola Häggkvist charmed the press corps at Eurovision in Concert when she did battle with a wind machine (and lost).

But that’s not the only reason we love Eurovision in Concert. It takes places in Melkweg—an amazing music venue in Amsterdam—and usually brings together 20+ Eurovision artists. In recent years we’ve rubbed shoulders with Anggun, Ryan Dolan, Sinplus, Mandinga, Donny Montell, Zlata OgnevichRoberto Bellarosa and everyone in between.

This year’s concert takes place on April 5. That’s in 66 days. So far the confirmed artists include San Marino’s Valentina Monetta and Albania’s Hersiana Matmuja. Yessssss.

You can visit the official Eurovision in Concert site for more information and to purchase your 30 euro tickets.
