The Melodifestivalen odds for the second semi-final are out, and the bookies are backing Melodifestivalen veterans Sanna Nielsen (“Undo”) and Martin Stenmarck (“När änglarna går hem”) to win this evening in Linkoping.

Sanna, who last appeared at Melodifestivalen spinning inside a metal pumpkin, has odds as low as 1/10. Yes, that’s pretty close to zero! Her song “Undo” has shades of “Empty Room”—which almost took her to Eurovision a few years ago. If she doesn’t advance tonight, smoke will come out of our ears.
Martin Stenmark also seems like a lock. His odds are as low as 9/5, though most betmarkets have him down at 2.
Jem and Little Great things seem likely to be relegated to the Second Chance round.

sannas song is OK, but it’s not the song in mf that would do best in esc. helena would score a top 5 result if the swedes would use their brains and vote for her. but still, sanna is a better choice than yohio, who would definately fail big time at esc with his lame song
Helena was the favourite last time and she ended up in the second chance. Betting odds in Melodifestivalen mean nothing.
