SVT has released pics from the Melodifestivalen second semi-final afterparty and it looks like everyone—winners and losers included—had a good time. Sanna Nielsen and Panetoz (the surprise of the show) proceeded straight to the final, while JEM and Martin Stenmarck will join Helena Paparizou and Linus Svenning in the Andra Chansen. But that didn’t stop them from raising a glass…

Sanna Nielsen managed to procceed throught to the final for the seventh time in seven attempts. She thanked everyone who voted for her: “It’s fantastic! I’m overwhelmed right now! It’s super! I believe in my song, and I’m proud of all I have done in the last few years. I now feel more secure with music. This is the style I want to sing, but develop as well.” She also uploaded a video on Instagram, through which she expressed her thanks and..ascreemed a little bit!

Panetoz were the big surprise of last night’s show. “We feel great right now. We are fully satisfied with our performance. It’s just love! We are here because of you. Thanks a lot!” The group had also uploaded a similar to Sanna’s video on their official account on Instagram.

Martin Stenmarck says that it may prove lucky that he has to pass through the Second Chance round to appear at Friend’s Arena at the 8th of March. At the afterparty he came dressed totally in red.

J.E.M. appear happy to be proceeding to Andra Chansen, as it’s the first time they are competing at Melodifestivalen.

As for the acts that were eliminated, they are staying positive and upbeat.

“People may feel sorry for me not procceeding…But I feel happy and proud of my performance. Everything went as planned.” says Manda, who finished last. The Refreshments, who came 5th, seemed happy with how they did and are sure thay are going to return the next year. Little Great Things also felt excited, even if they finished 6th. “We are happy that there were Swedes who voted for us! People love the MF. WOW!”

Others turned out, too. Former MF contestant Sean Banan and 7-year-old Sigrid did tricks on the red carpet.

See you next Saturday in the Scandinavium, Goteborg, for Deltavling 3!
