A Dal Finalists: Kállay-Saunders, Fool Moon, Dénes Pál and HoneyBeast complete line-up

Last night Hungary selected the first four finalists of A Dal 2014. Those lucky four—Viktor Király, Bogi, New Level Empire and Depresszió—were relaxed tonight. But the show, and the stress, went on for the remaining semi-finalists. Let’s see who survived and will battle it out in the final on February 22!

Jury Votes

Kállay-Saunders, who I spoke with back in January, got 40 points and ensured his place in the final. His video is amazing, and so was his performance tonight.

Fool Moon was the other act that received a high enough score from the jury to advance automatically.

Televote qualifiers

After the phone lines were closed, Dénes Pál and HoneyBeast emerged as the winners of the public vote.

I’m sort of glad Marge was eliminated.. I found in this competitive semi, she didn’t stand out as much and her hand light gimmick was already worn out. Love Fool Moon who can hold an A capella well without heavy reliance on beatbox like Witloof Bay. Won’t mind who wins, just pls not Depresszió :’D

Best choice for Hungary and my favorite is Kallay-Saunders, but i think he dont have any chance to win in Hungary.

I find it interesting that the finalists are also ByeAlex’s personal 8 favorite he wanted to see in the final 😛

The winner will come from of this semifinal, for sure. My favorites: Kállay-Saunders, New Level Empire, Fool Moon and Dénes Pál.

I’m sad that Marge was eliminated 🙁
I’m pretty sure it’s clear who the top two will be:
-Kallay-Saunders
-Viktor Király

One of them will no doubt be the winner. I prefer Viktor, but I’d be happy with either and both have the potential to win Eurovision I think.
