After a long period of silence, Montenegro’s Eurovision 2014 contestant Sergej Cetkovic has revealed via his official Facebook page that he will publish his Eurovision song and video on March 9.
During a recent appearance on the program Radni dan on RTCG, he also revealed that he can’t wait to get on the Eurovision stage and sing for Montenegro. He hopes that he will be the man to bring his country to the final for the first time. Yes: He’s trying to pull a Valentina Monetta, y’all! (Except she’s not a man, unles you count this creepy video of her singing 10 octaves lower).
He also said that the team from Denmark’s DR will be in the town of Cetinje on February 24 to shoot the postcard that will introduce him at Eurovision.
As for the song title, he is reserving his right to remain silent and has said that he’s not sure if it’s going to be sung in English or Montenegrin. Only thing he’s sure of is that it will be a pop ballad with a love theme. Shocker, y’all. He also added that people who have listened to his song have said that it has a little bit of Irish influence in it. Bye bye to “Igranka”, Hello to “Only Love Survives”!
His best-known ballad “Pogledi u Tami” brought him grand success in the Balkans, even in the film industry. Could his new one go international? Hold on ’til 9th March!
Or would it be hello Ireland 1990s?? Guess we’ll have to wait and hear. Maybe he’ll pull something cool like Eythor.
I sure hope Montenegro and San Marino finally make it to the final this year, but we’ll have to listen to the songs first 😉
i think it will be amazing
