Update: This poll is now closed. Click here to see the final results!

You’ve already sat through five weeks of Melodifestivalen. Now it’s time to sit through a sixth. But when this one ends we’ll finally have a winner—and Sweden’s Eurovision 2014 singer!

SVT have released the running order for the March 8 final and, rather humorously, finished the announcement by noting that no robots were used during last night’s Andra Chansen (unlike in recent years…).

You can listen to all ten of this year’s finalists below, listed in the order that they’ll perform. Then vote in our poll! You can vote for as many contestants as you’d like, but you can only vote ONE time. Be sure to click the box next to each act that you want to support.

This poll will close on Thursday evening at midnight. Who should win Melodifestivalen 2014? Start voting and let us know!

Helena is the one who should win the contest on Saturday. Not only because she is a great signer, but also due to the fact she an excellent character with good manners. in addition, she has soul and she means every word she says.

Sweden you must choose Ellen Benediktson with “SONGBIRD” !
It would be a big mistake not to choose her !!!
? ? It’s a magical song ? ?

I do like Helena’s “my number one” but in my opinion “survivor” is just not up to par. I feel that there’s way too much voting for the artist and not the song. I think that this song is ok and not great. But everyone’s opinion is different.

Talk about it. I want YOHIO to win sooooo bad! I mean, he didnt do such a big immpresion as last year, but i think if this time; every YOHIO fan filles their phone with money, practise their fingers, and when the final comes, gets his/her strenth to dial, and vote for YOHIO! I will be sitting at my couch, looking att my phone, and waiting when we get to vote. Last time times called : 7 this time i will call at least 15. Wish YOHIO luck!!!

Helena, Sanna and Linus should be in top 3 but i’m quite certain that Ace Wilder will win. She’s #1 on iTunes and Spotify and got the last spot in the final.

Why not Helena, Frankie..? Also Helena is “fresh” artist, just made ??a great success at a young age. What does this mean..? That it should not be given the opportunity to represent her country in the competition..? That Europe loves and supports her, means that something has been proven over time. Nothing is random.

Frankie

Why Helena? I don’t get it why you want her. She is a god damn “safe card” ’cause Europe likes her and she’d probably just end up on a decent place. But why not send a new, “fresh” artist? It’s sad to see that some fans are stuck in “how it should be” and don’t want new things to spice it all up.

Helena Paparizou has arguably the whole package and really deserves not only represent you in Eurovision but also have a very good position in it. Why not another victory for herself and of course Sweden. I hope you make the right choice and select her. She deserves the best. You deserve the best.

Greetings from Greece and England

Right. So Helena is #1 here. Bettingwise Sanna is #1. And Ace is #1 on swe Spotify. Before Loreen won mf2012 all signs pointed in one direction. Now it is just a mess. Kind of like last year or am I wrong? No obvious winner.

Helena, Sanna, or Linus should win MF. Helena’s performance is so beautiful! All the elements of sadness and endurance, combined with such a powerful voice, makes Paparizou “My Number One”! Sanna’s ballad is beautiful, a little less powerful in its message, but I love it! Linus’ song is so nice, I love the translation! Unfortunately he prob won’t do will with the international juries because it’s in Swedish. Come on Sweden! Do Europe proud!

My favorite 3 songs are Songbird,Survivor and Undo.I would be happy if one of these won.
And Helena has a great potential to win on Saturday.Do you remember Robin Stjernberg last year?He was the swedish representative in Malmo. He was at the 2nd chance before the final,so…

How can you even hesitate on who should win? Her song is amazing. She sings every note with so much commitment to the lyrics. Her voice is solid. Helena Paparizou is just a goddess. Nobody deserves it more than her.Period.

I have heard each song twice, and here is how I see it from NYC:

10. Anton Ewald
9. Alcazar
8. YOHIO
7. Panetoz
6. Helena Paparizou
5. Oscar Zia
4. Ace Wilder (who reminds me a bit of Avril Lavigne)
3. Ellen Benediktson
2. Sanna Nielsen
1. Linus Svenning

How did Linus end up being busted down to the Andra Chansen (wild-card) round?

Loving Ace more and more each day. I want her!!!!!!!!!!

If not her, then anyone except for Linus. This sounds like a stupid reason, but I can’t stand gages. I don’t want them on the Eurovision stage.

Sanna’s “Undo” gives you an overall computerized feeling, stripped from any real instruments. It sounds rather synthetic and plastic for a ballad that’s trying to make you connect with the interpreter’s emotions – had it incorporated more orchestral elements in its chorus it would have sounded much more raw and genuine. Sanna does her best and the staging and camera work during her number are really nice but that’s not enough. Her entry is overhyped. “Empty room” was better! Helena with Survivor on the other hand…God what a CLASS ACT! She feels every word that comes out of her mouth.… Read more »

Oh, I don’t think Alcazar will win. I think it’s gonna be Sanna who wins.

Ellen might’ve been a surprise contender but they really screwed her over by putting her 2nd in the running order. 🙁

@Francis: You’ll overcome that one day… trust me! You see, we have all cried for a slice of cake … but years later we laugh of ourselves of for the time we did waste on that. And again, that slice of cake never cried for us … so ….

@davve: Ballads never do great at eurovision? Where have you been the last years?
Russia 2013
Netherlands 2013
Italy 2013
Azerbaijan 2013
Estonia 2012
Azerbaijan 2012
Spain 2012

Just to name a few from the last two years.. And let’s not forget to mention Iceland 2009 and Serbia 2007.

I do not see the greatness of Sannas song Undo. it is OK but ballads never do great at eurovision these days and Undo will NOT change that trend. if we vote this to eurovision we will perhaps not even make the final.

anton, alcazar or ace to eurovision. or helena..

1- Ace Wilder with “Busy Doin’ Nothin'”
2- Ellen Benediktson with “Songbird”
3- Linus Svenning with “Bröder”
4- Oscar Zia with “Yes We Can”
5- Sanna Nielsen with “Undo”
6- Panetoz with “Efter solsken”
7- Yohio with “To the End”
8- Helena Paparizou with “Survivor”
9- Alcazar with “Blame It On the Disco”
10- Anton Ewald with “Natural”
Any of my top three I’ll be happy with. My bottom four winning will cause me to flee Sweden for Norway. Anything in the middle I won’t be happy with and won’t root for, but I wouldn’t be devastated.

Yohio and Linus don t have chance to win, because international juries wili not vote for their song . Yohio was flop with better song with international juries last year, and Linus dont have chance because his songi in swedish and in past international juries dont gave many points to songs in swedish. If we have only swedish juries Linsu wili be strong contender for win.

Ace, Oscar, Helena or Sanna they have songs that can bring good result for Sweden at Eurovision TOP 10 in final and maybe Ace, Oscar or Helena can bring TOP 5 in final .

Well, finally I made my mind up. Sanna should be the winner. But I wouldn’t be dissappointed if Helena or Linus win. I think most people are understimating Linus’ entry. I am pretty sure he will make at least the top 5 in MF. Sanna and Helena will be in the top 3 for sure on saturday. As for Ace Wilder and YOHIO, they have no chance of winning.
