The “Survivor” singer, our readers’ pick to win Melodifestivalen this evening and a favourite of the Wiwi Jury, caught up with our Israeli correspondent Ron after the dress rehearsal on Friday evening. “I don’t regret participating in the Swedish Melodifestivalen,” she said. “The production is like touring all over Sweden.”
She also explained that she had planned to release her album in November 2013, but that hearing “Survivor” changed her plans.”When I was doing the final vocaling at the end of August or beginning of September I heard the song and I was begging the guys to put it on my album,” she told us. “They said, ‘No Helena. This is going ot the Melodifestivalen.'”
Luckily it went to #melfest with Helena. Now that she’s there, she wants to finish on top: “I really want to win…I want to conquer all!”
