Every week we supply the photo and you supply the caption. This week’s image comes from SVT’s Eurovision 2013 documentary, which featured tons of behind-the-scenes action from Malmö. About half way through the documentary, we see Moran Mazor’s reaction after being eliminated from her semi-final. But is that really the source of her despair? Did someone just step on her foot? Is she angry that she might have to fly home early? Or is her blue sapphire earring just really heavy? Let us know in the comments box below!
And be sure to check out our previous Eurovision Open Caption posts when you’re done!

think it is a disgrace that she did not win, her song was the best and doubt if Israel will find a contender like her or as good as her to compete. doubt it. she gave her heart out, and very beautiful woman. utterly disgusting what Euro vision did to her
Moron!!! she cries because she did nt impress with her glasses
She had the best song last year 🙁

There is a still a huge difference between humorous and playing along to things with some lightweight joy and some seriously unashamed bashing down … you may not want to express your real intentions but for as far as I can tell on this website being nice to this girl has never been the case …. and that comes from being so shallow on the way her physique was judged and from looking down to her power ballad for being boring (so many ballads up to this point … this one got the smack down)… that having this photo as… Read more »
@Bruno: Mocking people is not fun … unless you want me to mock your mother … trust me, you would want to punch my face. Now try to laugh at that.
‘They called me four eyes’
Poor Moran.
I agree with Charles, maybe not the way he said it (because I think he’s a bit angry) but everything he says is true. Otherwise, I think that 2013 ESC was unfair because great songs as San Marino and Israel didn’t qualify and, meanwhile some other rubbish songs as Hungarian one, or Lithuania, or Malta, or Belgium qualify.
UNA INJUSTICIA, UNA DE TANTAS EN ESC.
Charles have some sense of humour.
Charles, the spirit is playful–calm down. This scene was very prominent in the SVT documentary which is probably why it’s called out. Eurovision isn’t just about winning. For most people it ends like this. Anyway, love you Moran!
Keep calm and have some sense of humor.
Unbelievable! Not only the sarcasm on this article about the photo is just offensive towards this girl … but the fact that almost everybody else here is endorsing this humiliation is just beyond my understanding. After one year … yes the tight dress, the 70s glasses, the long hair, the big boobs, etc. … But can you finally move on from that? … She didn’t move forward to the final whereas the alcohol did just like you wanted. Do you really need to keep mocking this girl? Seriously? Let’s see who will mock Conchita Wurts this year … or is… Read more »
She was crying because there was no cheesecake in the green room.
It was the day before her birthday… Poor Moran, worst birthday ever… 🙁
Lol I actually loved Bulgaria last year.
“Moran breaks into tears as she realises just how old her brown glasses make her look.”
She cried because nobody told her that she should never cry over spilled milk…but it’s a very touching photo and there were so many detractors in Israel who didn’t approve of her song nor her style that it must have been a blow to the ego (or the chest:))
she just realized Mei Finegold has a good chance of qualifying for the final
She was crying because Zlata hit a high note which made Moran’s glas of wine break and she got wine all over her dress.
lol. that dress was so TIGHT. she’s probably crying because it won’t come off and/or has cut her
I’m 50% with Diego on this. The other 50% is on her not qualifying…I think she deserved to qualify. I liked her and her voice, although the song was a bit depressing…I did not understand a word, but that’s how it sounded to me.
Moran Mazor: M-Moje 3 didn’t qualify!
“When hurt is all you’re feeling, and Petra is revealing; the only performance to hold on to.”
Maybe because of the dress. It sure was low-cut.
She’s reacting to Valentina Monetta not qualifying, that was my general reaction as well, except less sadness and more blind rage.
I cried for Moran though.
PeR just told those who failed to qualify that they will do a special performance of “Here we Go” for them.
She’s crying because she had a flashback to Harel Skaat in 2010 when he hit that really awful note in the recap 🙁
Moran: (while crying) I should have worn that 3-D glasses Petra Mede lent me to watch the Eurovision History part 2.
she creed because she failed to qualify
I think if you got beat out by a vampire look alike opera singer, you have every right to be upset
Moran’s elimination was biggest injustice at Eurovision 2013, along with the Ryan Dolan’s placing in the final.
She’s crying because she realize nobody actually likes Bulgaria besides Bulgarians.
Poor she! I wanted Israel to win in 2013!!! 🙁
Those are tears for Valentina Monetta
Moran cries after seeing Moje 3’s dresses 🙂
