Germany’s Lena proved she could transcend borders when she won Eurovision back in 2010. Last night she went pan-European again, this time during Ant & Dec’s show Saturday Night Takeaway in the UK.
Lena’s moment came during the commercial break. As part of its latest advert, ITV used her single “Stardust” as the soundtrack along with the tagline “Where the entertainers live”.
Unfortunately, there’s no sign of Lena herself, as the advert features only familiar faces from ITV, including Simon Cowell (Britain’s Got Talent), Keith Lemon (Celebrity Juice) and Holly Willoughby (This Morning). Lena may not be British, but to the casual listener she sure does sound English!

RTL Germany has not found Lena. Pro7 and ARD found her. RTL ist the competitor Pro7. RTL has some Castingshows. Why not a Winner of these Shows? 🙂
very simple … RTL Germany is the partner station of ITV here …I am sure it is a deal between the 2 stations as Rebecca Ferguson does the same for RTL Germany 🙂 You call this cross promotion 🙂

Lena should have been marketed outside Germany. Her last album is amazing and Stardust sounds like an anthem that would slay the UK charts. Such a shame her label didn’t promote her outside Germany
I remember watching Saturday Night Takeaway and hearing this and i was like…. that’s Lena? and there was me like going really loud in the living room like “THAT’S LENA THE 2010 EUROVISION WINNER OMG OMG OMG WHAT IS SHE DOING ON OUR TV’S OMG OMG OMG” so yeah aahahahhahahahhahah
