Melodifestivalen 2014 has only just ended, but Helena Paparizou has already moved on and released her new studio album “One Life”. She recorded all of the songs in Sweden, perhaps signaling her intent to conquer the Swedish charts on top of the Greek ones. The album includes “Survivor”, her #melfest entry this year.

Helena started recording the album in March 2012. At the time she was also competing on “Let’s Dance” in Sweden.
Now that the recording sessions are over, and the dance show and Melodifestivalen are complete, Helena has plenty of time to organise the perfect wedding with her long-time boyfriend Andreas Kapsalis. If rumours have it right, then the wedding will take place this May on the island of Aigina, Greece, where Andreas was born.
The studio album was actually ready in November 2013, but Helena had to wait for Melodifestivalen to end, as “Survivor” couldn’t be released earlier (since it was a competing song).

Enough,Survivor,Chainsaw and One Life are only few from the amazing songs of this album. If Helena would compete with 4 another 1 she would finished 1st with a Melodifestivalen record.

It’s a very good album! I’ve been playing it on repeat since last night! It showcases a very successful mix of floor-fillers and old-school ballads. Modern but also classic.
