The men competing at the Eurovision Song Contest know how to sing. They also know how to flash a smile and make their fans swoon. Over the past five years we’ve given them the opportunity to show off their personality and their physique in our search for Eurovision’s Next Top Male Model. Thanks to their good lucks and charm, it is now the premier online modeling contest for the men of Eurovision.
As always, we need your help to determine who has the charisma—and the muscles—to carry the prestigious title. Here’s how it will work. Twenty-five men want a spot in the Top Male Model final. But wiwibloggs.com can only afford 15 pairs of dumbells and 15 subscriptions to Men’s Health magazine. As such, we will conduct semi-final voting between now and April 24. From time to time the contestant with the lowest number of votes will be asked to pack up his protein powder and go home. The last 15 men standing will advance to the final. All votes will be erased, and you guys will have another opportunity to vote.
Our panel of experts has had to make some difficult decisions to narrow the field to 25 contestants. The men who make up France’s Twin Twin, Greece’s Freaky Fortune feat. Riskykidd and Latvia’s Aarzemnieki will each compete as individuals. However, the men who comprise Georgia’s The Shin will compete as one contestant, as will the men of Iceland’s Pollapönk. Topi Latukka, the lead singer of Softengine, will compete on his own, while the four supporting members will compete as the “Men of Softengine”. Only Richard Edwards Micallef will represent Malta.
You can see each of the guys’ modeling portfolios below. Before you vote, be sure to watch them in action on our contestants page. How they look is important, but so is their ability to move and own the stage.
You can vote for as many men as you would like, but you can only vote ONE time. Be sure to click the box next to every man you want to see in the Top Model finals before pressing “vote.” It’s up to you, Europe. Start voting now!
And, if you haven’t done so, be sure to vote for your favourite women in our search for Eurovision’s Next Top Model 2014.
