Now that Axel Hirsoux has a a team to support him on his road to Copenhagen, he has finally found the time to start thinking about an official videoclip for ‘Mother’. Axel and his team want to prove it doesn’t always have to be complicated, and have come up with the ingenious idea of inviting mothers to star in their video clip. That’s right people: Axel is after your mother!
Axel launched the call this week together with broadcaster VRT. What exactly the idea is for the video clip and how all those mothers will fit in has not been revealed yet. What we do know is that the response was overwhelming and that Axel has had to close the application window. Looks like Belgian moms really want to help nurture a bit of success for Axel!
The video shoot is planned for this Monday 14th of April and will take place in the Vaudeville Theater in the Brussels’s Koninginnegalerij. The release date for the video hasn’t been revealed yet.

I sense ignorance in most of the comments here. I just find it appalling how many here considers this type of ballad song as automatically dull, boring or horrendous, let alone their comments about Axel’s appearance and vocal abilities. Not even a slight consideration about the notion of this song with regards to the singer who’s just giving a composed tribute to his mother but instead these people hating it for granted without any further reasonable explanation? My point here is not forcing these people to change their minds, but really?
I don’t like this song, it’s so borring, only interersting lyrics because it is written about mothers, but the music is sooooo boring it kills and not even puts me to the sleep so I can escape and be free, I would like to switch off my screen when this comes on stage
“Axel Hirsoux is after your mother” part of title is rather silly, please change that part of the title for this article, crazy
