To win Eurovision you need a killer song and a decent voice. To win Eurovision’s Next Top Model you need a personality that can charm the masses and a body that just won’t quit. The women who bring all of these attributes to the table have a chance chance for a career as an international superstar when their Eurovision glory fades.

On March 24, twenty-five women entered the House of Wiwi hoping to sashay their way into the finals. But the team at wiwibloggs.com can only afford 15 cans of hairspray and 15 pairs of fake eyelashes. To help us narrow the field our readers have cast a total of 19,406 votes. During our first elimination we said goodbye to Malta’s Michelle, Georgia’s Mariko, and Latvia’s Katrina

It hasn’t always been easy—we hate tears, and we hate when women curse. But in the world of Eurovision one day you’re in and the next day you’re out. For seven of our contestants, Eurovison’s Next Top Model ends now.

TOP_MODEL

Twenty-two mostly beautiful women stand before me. But I only have 15 photos in my hands. These photos represent the 15 of you who will advance to the finals and are still in the running to become Eurovision’s Next Top Model 2014.

The winner of our semi-finals isn’t just a pretty face. She’s also a woman with a beautiful set of hair extensions. She wowed us with her choreography at Eurovision in Concert, and she charmed us with her beauty and wisdom at the London Eurovision Party. “If you have real love you shouldn’t let go,” she said. Well our readers are in love with you and they aren’t going anywhere!

She’s earned 6,070 votes or more than 31% of all those cast. She’s gorgeous, she’s our semi-final winner, she is Ukraine’s Maria Yaremchuck!

Congratulations Maria. You’re still in the running to become Eurovision’s Next Top Model.

The woman finishing the semi-finals in second place still looks beautiful when holding an 18-second high note. She may share the stage with Ovi at Eurovision, but we know a lot of eyes are going to be solely on her. She’s a former winner of this competition. She’s a talented singer. And she’s our favourite babe from Bucharest. With 3,770 votes, or 19.43% of all those cast, she is Romania’s Paula Seling!

Congratulations Paula. You’re still in the running to become Eurovision’s Next Top Model.

The woman finishing in third place is riding a wave of momentum that may take her all the way to the top. She’s currently in second place in our poll to win Eurovision 2014, and recently told us that she has already sorted out her costume for Copenhagen. When the ocean’s way too deep she keeps her head high above the water—and her hair looking healthy and shiny. We’re holding onto her “Heartbeat” and so are our readers. She’s finished third in the semi-finals with 1,424 votes or 7% of all those cast. She’s got the luck of the Irish and the body of a Goddess. She is Ireland’s Kasey Smith.

Congratulations Kasey. You’re still in the running to become Eurovision’s Next Top Model.

The woman finishing fourth in the semi-finals brings a lot of fire to the table. Her voice is sexy and sultry and reminds us of smoke. She’s also from the Land of Fire and wants to “Start a Fire”. Her song is all about humanity, and she is all woman. With 1,291 votes, or more than 6%, she is the Beauty from Baku, she is Miss Dilara Kazimova!

Congratulations Dilara. You’re still in the running to become Eurovision’s Next Top Model.

The woman finishing in fifth place in the semi-finals was recently described by one of our jurors as “the kind of woman who would call you a b*tch to your face rather than behind your back”. It’s that raw edge that makes her stand out. Her spikey hair, rocker edge, and ability to mix couture with Mickey Mouse headpieces has helped her earn 935 votes or nearly 5% of all those cast. She’s an independent spirt and she’s not afraid to rock on. She is Italy’s Emma Marrone!

Congratulations Emma. You’re still in the running to become Eurovision’s Next Top Model.

The señorita finishing in sixth place this week brings Latin spice and major attitude to the table. When we met with her at Eurovision in Concert, she told us that she loves controversy and that she is in it to win it at Eurovision. Bashful she is not. In her official music video she proved that she could dance, even in the rain. It was so good we were convinced she had used a body double. She did not. And that’s just one of the reasons she has earned 645 votes or more than 3% of all those cast. She’s sexy. She’s seductive. She is Spain’s Ruth Lorenzo!

Congratulations Ruth. You’re still in the running to become Eurovision’s Next Top Model.

Like all of you ladies, I haven’t eaten in days. And the process of naming the finalists is exhausting me. So I’d like the nine remaining finalists to please step forward. They are:

7. Poland’s Cleo: 583 votes, 3%
8. Moldova’s Cristina Scarlat: 568 votes, 2.93%
9. Austria’s Conchita Wurst: 483 votes, 2.49%
10. United Kingdom’s Molly Smitten-Downes: 468 votes, 2.41%
11. Israel’s Mei Finegold: 450 votes, 2.32%
12. Russia’s Tolmachevy Sisters: 438 votes, 2.26%
13. The Netherlands’ Ilse DeLange: 375 votes, 1.93%
14. Sweden’s Sanna Nielsen: 327 votes, 1.69%
15. Lithuania’s Vilija Mataciunaite: 280 votes, 1.44%

Congratulations ladies. You’re still in the running to become Eurovision’s Next Top Model.

Lithuania, Vilija Mataciunaite, 1

Would Suzy, Tanja, Valentina, Hersiana, Tinkara, Tijana and the Women of Elaiza please step forward.

16. Portugal’s Suzy: 209 votes, 1.08%
17. Estonia’s Tanja: 208 votes, 1.07%
18. San Marino’s Valentina Monetta: 194 votes, 1%
19. Albania’s Hersiana Matmuja: 186 votes, 0.96%
20. Slovenia’s Tinkara Kovac: 138 votes, 0.71%
21. FYR Macedonia’s Tijana: 133 votes, 0.69%
22. Germany’s Elaiza: 118 votes, 0.61%

I am extremely disappointed in the seven of you. Rather than perfecting your runway walk you’ve been busy perfecting your vocals. It’s almost as if you think Eurovision is more important than this online modeling competition. WTF?

You ladies represnt the lowest of the low. At this point I’m meant to send all of you home. But I was reading the Merchant of Venice the other day and was reminded that “the quality of mercy is not strained; it droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven upon the place beneath.” And one of you is about to get soaking wet.

I have consulted with the Wiwi Jury and we have decided to have mercy on one of you. Yes. We are breaking the rules and allowing 16 women into the finals.

Suzy Portugal 2014

Suzy: You were one of Portugal’s biggest child stars and you can still claim the country’s biggest Christmas hit. Yet you remain so humble and down-to-earth. We love that. But sometimes to get a head in modeling, you need to be more of a monster.

Tanja Estonia

Tanja: At Eesti Laul you have demonstrated your flexibility and ability to balance on one leg while a man attempts to rip your other one off. We apreciate your bravery—but are you too much of a risk-taker to make it to the top?

San Marino, Valentina Monetta, 4

Valentina: You’ve competed in this competition twice already, and you haven’t managed to become our Top Model. We believe in second chances. But do we believe in thirds?

Albania Hersiana Matmuja Avni Selmani 2

Hersiana: You are absolutely adorable, and we can’t imagine you ever getting angry. But to be a Top Model you need to have claws. Can the nice girl turn into an aggressive one?

Slovenia, Tinkara Kovac, 2

Tinkara: There’s sexy. But then there is too far. Will designers want to use a woman who sexualises the flute?

Tijana To the Sky Macedonia

Tijana: Age does not wither you. You’ve kept your skin taut and your spirit young and free. But you have a child. When push comes to shove, we think you’ll choose being Mother over being Model.

Germany, Elaiza, 3

Women of Elaiza: Look, we’re not saving you. So I’m not going to try and think of something cute to say.

So who stays?

The Estonian. Tanja, congratulations. You’re still in the running to become Eurovision’s Next Top Model. Just don’t let that guy rip your leg off!

The finals of Eurovision’s Next Top Model 2014 begin on Monday 21 April. Voting will be re-set to zero. The poll will close on May 21—more than one week AFTER the Eurovision final. We want to give y’all something to look forward to…

I very much agree with most of this list, except maybe one or two, but certainly a lot more aligned to my personal taste than the men’s one 😛
Maria is definitely the most gorgeous! So I’m glad she’s winning so far, go Maria! I also think Emma deserves to be higher.
Oh! And I would’ve saved Suzy!

Why “Undo” is so bad? Bad lyrics, slow song without power and bad presentation. Only darkness, without istruments, dancers, images, gestures and interesting effects such as fire or lightnings. People like this only because this is Sweden.?

I know this is all fun and jokes especially the way you guys phrase thing but please be careful with comments like ” ladies like you, I haven’t eaten for days” coz it’s a really sensitive subject that affects many teens who have become anorexic and whatnot to have a “slim body” which has ended teens life because they’re not happy with themselves similar to what happens with LGBT community. No hate guys 🙂 and I don’t wanna be a party proper and i know you guys mean no harm and I know it’s just comments we sadly see around… Read more »

Ukraine is the most beautiful! But maybe Italy is the most high fashion? But she’s a little to thick to make it as a model. Maybe as a personality though. Anyway, Ukraine and Italy for me!
