All of the Eurovision semi-finalists have now completed their first rehearsals, and the bookies are adjusting their odds for who will win Eurovision 2014.

We’ve consulted with Eurovision betting odds on WHO’LLWIN.com, and a lot has changed since the last time we checked on the odds for the grand final on April 15.

One of the major developments is that Ukraine’s Mariya Yaremchuk has climbed to fourth place with most bookies. At PaddyPower, for instance, her odds have narrowed from 16/1 and ninth place to 14/1 and fourth place (as of April 30, 2014). She’s passed Norway and the UK in the process. Mariya brought a hamster wheel to Copenhagen and is channeling the spirit and resilience of the Ukrainian people. Can she keep it going?

Sanna continues to keep it close with Aram Mp3. Perhaps the bookies are consulting the OGAE fan clubs?

Norway is silently slipping out of contention, having dropped from fourth favourite on April 15 to sixth today. But Carl isn’t the only one slipping. Romania will need a miracle to win. The duo was sitting happily at 14/1 odds a few weeks ago, but now is at 20/1 with PaddyPower and 33/1 with Ladbrokes. Do you think the drama about alleged video plagiarism had an impact?

You can check out the latest Eurovision bettings odds on WHO’LLWIN.com.

Armenian guy, Russia, Belarus representatives officially declared that EU is the source of evil and depravation – re Austrian representative. Who now would like to vote for Armenia??????????

Former Soviet Union countries (not old ones as Czech or Poland e.g.) are as good as Russia!!!!!!!!!!!!

For me the Azarbeijan song is the best of this contest. Dilara has a wonderful voice , so I hope she will win! Also in the top 5: Armenia, Sweden, Hungary, Austria and Israël?
The Dutch entry is underrated….great artists and a real “song”. I hope they will reach the final! Fingers crossed on Tuesday!

I think that the winner will be one of these 5 countries:

UK, Denmark, Ireland, Sweden or Israel.

Armenia’s odds got longer again. They are 7/4 with Paddy Power.

I wouldn’t mind Vienna 2015 thanks to Conchita. It’s a beautiful city from what I have heard.

But yeah, I think that Eurovision 2015 will be held in
London, Copenhagen, Dublin, Stockholm (or back to Malmo) or Tel Aviv. 🙂

TOP 10: 1)SWEDEN 2)UNITED KINGDOM 3)NORWAY 4)DENMARK 5)IRELAND 6)ROMANIA 7)HUNGARY 8)SPAIN 9)ITALY 10)FRANCE I didn’t put them from the best to the rest. I just put the ten songs that I really like them! I don’t know what to put 1st or 2nd whatever. For me ARMENIA hasn’t got any chance to win the competition, I think he will probably be in the top ten but i see him in 3-7. As you look up to my top 10 armenia isn’t inside. The reason is that I don’t find anything special in that song. He is singing the same thing… Read more »

Sweden, UK, Norway, Denmark or Armenia will win for sure. I don’t get people saying that Sweden shouldn’t win cos they won two years ago! Doesn’t make sense, Azerbaijan tried their hardest to win last year, and only two years after winning. Luxembourg, Ireland, Israel, and Spain have all two in a row, so I can’t see any logic in saying Sweden shouldn’t or can’t win again!,, best song etc should win. As for Ukraine, it’s not the best lyrical song, but I’m sure they will receive some sympathy points, it’s catchy, but I would worry if the contest could… Read more »

I’d join those who say that Israel could very well be an outside dark horse. All of this year’s reported favorites like Hungary, Denmark, or Sweden, Azerbijan, or Armenia will cancel each other out because those songs will either score huge (10-12 points) or be essentially ignored (0-3 points) by some of the voting countries. So this year, I suspect the winner will emerge as that one song that can be solid THROUGHOUT the voting process (sort of scoring solid 6-10 points from most voting countries with only occasional 12 points and very few 0-3 points). That’s where a song… Read more »

I don’t get Sweden at all… it’s sooo Celine Dion ten years ago…but with a much worse voice…c’mon Sweden can’t win with this just only two afters after the exquisite Euphoria.

I think the winner will be in this group: Armenia, Hungary, Spain, Austria & UK

It’s kinda sad when people say ”Sweden should not win because they won two years ago.” I think we all want a Eurovision where the best song wins, regardless of what country it is. Do we really want a contest where the best song don’t win?

Denmark and Ukraine are strong dark horses, don’t overlook them! I think whilst Armenia and Sweden battle at the top, those two will sneak up on them and maybe even snag a victory.

UK would be up there too, I think these five would place the top 5.

Why?Why isn’t Spain in TOP 10?Why is Armenia first?Spain defently deserved first place and Aram defintly didn’t. Maybe those who make this betts think that Eastern bloc will help Armenia to win, but i am not sure. If Sirusho didn’t come in first 3 places newither will this. P.S. I adoree Sirusho but Aram isn’t the winner of this year.

Armenia`s song is not the best, Sweden is better, but Sweden will not win because they have already won 2 years ago. Like I saidm Armenia`s song is not the bestm but it`s unique. Old is mixed with new, a balled is transforming to dubstepm a whole love story in only 3 minutes, a strong message, a beautiful shoz (atleast I hope), a strong voice, no traditional rules (no chorus), and go so on.. I would be happy if Armenia wonm because they never did and this is their best entry (with qele qele). For me, Armenia has already won,… Read more »

I don t think that Armenia or Sweden will win . I think that we have another winner this year, i predict Denmark, or maybe United Kingdom ,Ukraine (we don t see Denmark, United Kingdom rehearsals). Dark horse for win after rehearsal from 1 and 2 semi is Israel. Before rehearsal i think dark horse will be Hungary , Greece even Ireland (but after their first rehearsals i m very disappoint)

@Thiefo, I understand your point, ( why is Arm. A favorite…) I really, honestly think that this is not Aram’s best song at all. However, I think people like it because it’s extremely unique ( in this years bunch) in so many ways and it stands out the most. You know, the symphonic orchestra+dupstep+drums+violins+gradual incline of the music+slow+aggression+Aram’s performance and maybe popularity+many people especially youngsters, can relate to it+One of the best and the most interesting music video, which is full of anticipation+So much more. Do all of the songs have this much in them? I doubt it. But I… Read more »

I don’t see Armenia as a winner this year. I don’t really think Sweden will win either as they’ve recently hosted the show. I’m happy with Ukraine’s climbing. I would like to head to Budapest next year, but it seems a bit unreal. So the UK is left. I really think London would be a great host city, it ain’t my favorite though.

@Armenian guy, you actually do not realize that your point is proving you wrong. You’re saying everyone has his own taste, but you’re reacting to her for expressing her taste.

Way to go Denmark! 🙂 If any of the songs sitting 1-5 has real chances for winning, that may be Denmark, whatever my personal favorites are. So cheering for Denmark to win, cheering for my personal favorites to go top 10 (that being Israel, Greece, Estonia, Germany, Norway, Ukraine – for now).

Israel is becoming a huge dark horse too. Mei jumped from 16th to 10th as soon as we saw the rehearsal. Given a strong second rehearsal, she could place even higher in the books.

You just have different taste.I hope thay your favourite win, so you won’t mind that much.Good luck .Peace out. ————- I do not know whether prediction of Bookies will be right or not , I personally think that UK is a ,so called, “dark horse ” . @Fatima you’re not the only one who thinks that, I also wonder the same, it is interesting to notice, however, how Aram has been consistent with the bookies, being on top from the begining until now, less than a week before the contest begins, so it’s hard to believe he’s not a legitimate favourite now. But yeah, I don’t see anything special in Not Alone, is in fact one of my least favourites this year, I don’t know why so many people like it, but with so many people rooting for him, I guess the weird one is me.

I still think Armenia will take it home or at least I hope so, because I honestly think Armenia deserves it this year. Sweden will come close second, although I have a feeling UK is going to be a dark horse. The song is definitely going to get the top points from the jurors across Europe. So, for now, I think Armenia, Sweden and UK have the most chances to win the show. Also, given the fact that next year it’s the 60th anniversary of Eurovision, I think the organizers would much rather see the show in London than in… Read more »

Yes! Go Mariya! For as much as I love her though, I don’t think she’ll win, but this might be the second year in a row we see Ukraine in the top 5, maybe?
We still need to see the Big5 and Denmark rehearse, maybe then Molly will climb back a few positions.

I still don’t see exactly why Armenia are favourites, though that’s nothing against Aram. I do think that when this is performed, millions of viewers and voters who have not read these blogs will ask the same question.
