Patrick: Oh my god, why? I’m not a fan of Freaky Fortune’s first rehearsal, or the idea with the trampoline. It’s a cheap gimmick and slightly distracting—and it will inevitibly impact Nikolaos and Riskykidd’s vocals when they jump on at the end. (By the way, do you remember what happened to Anggun and her gymnasts? Not a good sign). Even the background is underwhelming for a song about rebellion. I think Freaky Fortune feat. Riskykidd should go back to the drawing board. I’m dissapointed Greece…

Billy: That’s fun! I love the idea of the trampoline on the stage, making the phrase “Rise Up” come to life, while giving the performance an exciting and cheerful feel. According to our bloggers in Copenhagen, the trampoline man has some pretty cool moves up his sleeve, so watch out! At the end of the song, Nikolaos Raptakis (whose birthday is today) and Riskykidd will join him, making the song even more exhilirating and encouraging everyone to get up and dance. The simple black-and-white graphics will make it easier for everyone to focus on the song itself. It remains to be seen whether the vocals will suffer. But given that there are two backing vocalists to the side, I doubt there will be any problems. Well done!

Anthony: “Oh, my god!” ”Tramampoline! Trambapoline!!” This classic Homer Simpson quote pretty much summed up my first reactions to Greece’s rehearsal. Unlike Ukraine’s hamster wheel or Russia’s giant see-saw, the trampoline has some relevance to the Greek entry itself, as Freaky Fortune and Riskykidd will use it to “Rise Up” during their performance. Literally. This is bound to get the Eurovision viewers talking on the night this year.

Wiwi: This may look cheap in the 30-second clip, but in the press center it got some of the loudest applause. The trampoline artist helps create a dizzying atmosphere that stokes the club atmosphere of this song. The boys look and sound great, and I have a feeling Europe will want to Rise Up right quick…

Although Greece is one of my favorite countries in ESC, I’m sad to say that this year’s entry is SOOOO BAD!!! I just can’t believe this stupid song and staging. Sorry 🙁

I literally LOVE the staging! And the song for that matter. It’s a club filler, for sure and will be a summer hit wherever it will be played. I suspect 1-10 placement for this in the final. Thumbs up Greece! It’s all about your circus!

Possibly greeces worst entry in years, the trampoline is tacky and the singers are mish mashed and very poor. But it’s Greece so will qualify unfortunately 🙁 though the Greek finance minister needn’t worry about hosting next year
