Patrick: Whoa… That sounded horrible. Tinkara may have looked lovely in her mystical dress, but the vocals did not have the same magic. The background is a swirl of gold and red, and it really clashes with her BLUE dress. I love the idea of the staging and the mysterious, moody atmosphere. But she definitely needs to improve her vocals before the second semi-final. Tinkara: up your game or get ready to go home. I really doubt Slovenia can qualify after watching this…
Anthony: I had high hopes for my Tinkara prior to Slovenia’s first rehearsal today. The result? To be honest, it has left me with mixed feelings, especially after seeing Tinkara’s reaction when she’s finished her first run-through. She looked elegant in her blue dress, and the backing singers are smartly dressed as well. I loved the gold whirlpool effect, which appropriately fits in with the “Round and Round” phrase. A single rehearsal doesn’t win you the Eurovision title. There is still room for improvement and that’s what rehearsals are for.
Wiwi: Tinkara has a gorgeous voice. It’s just a shame that those backing vocalists are messing up her game. I’d like Team Slovenia to send the backing singers to boot camp so that Tinkara can shine. Her dress is lovely and and her flute is too. It gets me in the mood for mystery—and to pick up my phone for Slovenia!
