Patrick: Oh my freakin’ god…. This is such an amazing performance. What a voice, what a show! It’s a true fairytale through thousands of flames. Conchita’s dress shines like the sun, and stands out amid all the flames. Conchita proved she could sing ages ago, but in the second rehearsal she really upped her game. I got goosebumps everywhere… If Austria don’t make the finals with this, then we won’t make it with anything. Dankeschön Conchita!
Judit: A true DIVA! I really love Conchita and not because of her song (it isn’t my favourite) but because of her story and her personality. She just stands alone with fireworks on the LED wall. It’s very simple, but still powerful. She will definitely rise like a Phoenix!
Bogdan: Conchita is without flaw! Her rehearsal was perfect with each run-through. Although she “just stands there”, she engages with the camera very well and the background makes her look like she’s flying. It may not be the most modern song, but Conchita delivers it in a way that makes it not dated, but timeless. Mark my words, this performance will be on every news channel the day after the semi-final – and yes, if there’s any justice or a musical godd(dess), Conchita Wurst should fly like a Phoenix straight to the Grand Final, where she belongs.

Everytime I see another rehearsal from Conchita I’m more and more convinced it might give us a surprise. At least I’m now completely sure we will see her go through to the final, it would be a crime otherwise! One of my favourite stagings so far, from what we can see in these preview videos.

The whole dramaturgy of this is ON POINT. This song really emotes and conveys incredible feeling, while being the classiest act of the bunch.
