Wiwi: Tijana: You need to connect with the camera. It’s good that you’re now looking at it, but I need you to pull me in. I think the white square she stands on is fantastic, and I like the contemporary dance. However, I don’t like the white jumpsuit which is very Kati Wolf 2011. In any event, this borderline qualifier is improving day-by-day. Fingers crossed she’ll go “To the Sky”—and to the final.
Patrick: After today’s second rehearsal, I’ve reached one conclusion: Tijana doesn’t want to go to the final. These clothes are horrible and the bargain-bin stage-dress looks older than she does. The staging lacks a WOW-effect. It’s just a bit of light, a bit of colour and that’s it. The only thing I like is the magic LED-hand which is crawling towards Tijana. Her voice is good – but nothing to write home about. Where do we go now? “Home before the Final”…
Judit: These clothes are so boring (at least Lithuania has funny customes) and I really don’t understand the dancer in the full white jumpsuit. Tijana should dance more, should move more on the stage. And the weirdesd things are the hands on the LED wall, can someone explain that to me?

She’s making bigger shapes as I think she needs to, but not convincingly enough to get us engaged in the song. The suit could work if she had a demeanour to match, but it’s just another element that doesn’t fit her properly.
Marcelo is spot on. The dancer is there to actively guide her movements during the performance, as well as add movement himself.
Gotta be honest, this will not qualify based on the whole staging and dress she’s wearing. Her outfit at the preview video(where she was lip-synching the song on stage) was much much better. This is a possible contender for Barbara Dex Award.
Is this all the show Madonna from Balkans can do?…. If she do not want a dress they should persuade the hooded guy to wear one.

@ Robyn – That is what I referred to when I “defended” the dancer on stage (much as I dislike pantomime at ESC). She looks as if needing guidance. C’est dommage, but that’s how it looks.
Now I get it why she sings “Where do we go now?”. It’s because her dancer is confused and will take Tijana to unexpected places. Catchy song!
I believe the dancer is there so that she will be forced to move around a bit as she is made to interact with him 😉
Nothing impressive, though her vocals have improved and the slight changes in diction make this more understandable and less aggressive. And she is looking pretty!

This looks and sounds chaotic…
I’ve never liked the song too much, and these rehearsals do nothing to change that… And in this one it feels like someone is forcing her to perform. You never get the sense that she actually enjoys being on stage… That can change until the semi, but her presentation and lack of movement (to a dance song!) cannot, so bye bye Tijana!
argh ! her outfit !!!! They always manage to sabotage their chances or shoot themselves in the foot. They have a great song that can do so well, its such a disappointment. First she needs to change her outfit and then recruit 1 or 2 more dancers. It will enhance the performance so much. Her vocals were pretty good so she needs to stress less on that and worry about the presentation of the performance. This was my third favourite until seeing the rehearsals. Now it’s dropped out of my top ten. Tijana’s live voice isn’t good at all and the whole performance is just underwhelming. I don’t even know if I want it to reach the finals now. I still do love the studio version though. 😛
