Patrick: Wow! The Swiss singing laywer Sebalter rocked the stage! I didn’t expect such a wonderful performance. I already adored the staging and the colours during the first rehearsal, and now they pop even more. The perfomance is really friendly, cozy and inviting. I think Sebalter has improved his vocals since his first rehearsal, because he sounded way better today. I’m confidant that Switzerland will be back in the final.

Judit: Switzerland is a surprise – in a positive way! At first I expected nothing from Sebalter, but this performance is just so kind. When he starts walking and playing violin (a little tribute to Alexander Rybak), you want to get up and play a violin of your own. The LED-wall already looks like a winner’s staging. I like this whistling lawyer! No objections here!

There ia nothing I don’t love about this! The aongs makes me happy, the vocals are good and the staging is fantastic! Thank God I get to vote in the second semi 😉

@Thiefo: It’s good you mentioned Gianluca. I disliked him and his song very much last year, so this could actually explain why Sebalter kinda irritates me… I dunno, the song seems nice to me, but, I can’t help it, I’m not too keen on Sebalter’s voice and these gestures leave me puzzled… Hm. Anyway, it will be very exciting to see if people and juries bring him to the final. It would be great for Switzerland to reach the final, that’s for sure.

I agree with Iberian. I do want him to go, on Thursday. Sorry.

@Iberian Well, those are exactly the reasons why I love him! her facial expressions and his voice 😛 But to each their own…

I love his staging! Since I saw the video of the stage in action I loved it and wondered whose country would it be, I’m glad it was Switzerland’s!

Maybe Sebalter could be this year’s Gianluca, the cool guy singing a happy song nobody cared about at first but which gave a surprise and did good at the end?

In no way is this a surprise – from the beginning I thought Switzerland has the potential of doing really well, and personally I don’t understand why it isn’t considered among the favourites. This is another male singer with charisma on stage, even though I hope he stops wildly gesticulating at the beginning as if he tries to convey the meaning of the song by sign language. The whole performance gets much better toward the end when the violin and the drum keep both his hands busy.

I like the violin bit. But Sebalters facial expressions kinda irritate me. And I don’t think he has a nice voice, it actually irritates me as well. I don’t think this will get to the final. Sorry, Svizzera.

switzerland will this year as almost usual struggle to make it to the final. sebalters song is OK but it is no standout…. I think 15-16th place in the semi for him
