Bogdan: Molly delivers big time! After a few technical mishaps on the first run-through, it went better and better which each rehearsal, and the last run-through was flawless, a winner’s performance. She engages with the camera, she smiles and she even gives out a big “whoooo”, a clear sign that she is enjoying it. The floor and the background mirror each other and the dry ice offers a fairy-tale like impression. The waterfall pyros on the last chorus seals the deal: Molly is the people’s Eurovision princess this year, y’all. PS: The press centre went wild, too!
Patrick: WOW – Guys… I know we only saw 30 seconds but this looks like a winner. I really have to say that she sounds amazing, the show is just brilliant and the staging is faboulous. I really love Molly and now after I saw this amazing performance I’m sure United Kingdom won’t be dissapointing this year!
Anthony: Despite a technical ear piece issue on the first run-through, Molly easily passed the vocal test with flying colours, although she looked static on the first two run-throughs. However, massive cheers and a huge round of applause erupted from the press centre, as Molly made it third time lucky. She was growing in confidence and looking like a proper pop star. To top it all off, the last run-through included pyros in the form of a golden shower curtain, a la Azerbaijan 2011 and Denmark 2013.
Judit: Powerful! Molly in the pyro-rain looks amazing. Her voice is strong and with the background vocals it could be a winner. Can’t wait to see the whole performance!

If independence doesn’t happen host it at edinburgh castle. Or the Olympic Stadium in London. The first open air ESC.
Patrick, thank you, yay! Sure this is the winner of 2014 and I wanna see the contest in London next year. BBC might be a marvellous host for the 60th birthday of the Eurovision Song Contest.
This is a winner. Please don’t waste it people. Her live is amazing, song is amazing, lyrics are amazing…
And even before the Eurovision Song Contest achieved a place in UK singles chart.
This might be the winner, and I really hope it is. Her song is much more anthemic than Sweden’s and has wider universal appeal than Armenia’s. She looks fantastic on stage and sounds even better. I hope Ireland gives the UK 12 points this year because this song fully deserves it. Good luck Molly! =)
@Deven Why your choice of Amanda Byram? She’s Irish and isn’t that well known in the UK at all. If you mentioned that name to people in the UK they’d be like “WHO”? They might recognise her name but they wouldnt know what she looks like. She’s mainly worked in Ireland and the US. She hasnt presented anything in years. But she’s still a public figure and TV personality. I dont think she’d be a good choice to host for the UK. She’d be perfect to host the contest if Ireland ever win. But not the UK. She’s not british.… Read more »
Haha @Marcelo N I was joking 😛
And yea I understand 😉
@ Armenian guy – NOOO, I’m not angry!! You should be able to guess by now I am an anglophile, and I think Brits can put together a gobsmacking ESC 🙂
I just want to keep savouring the many entries I like until the Grand Finale, hehehe. But it would be grand to have a modern-day ESC in the UK, especially given the world media interest it would garner. Definitely!!
@Deven I think Simon Cowell must host ESC xD After every contestant he will be like ” It’s a NO from me..next !” xD
Oh and yea It definitely must be in London. 😛
I am done! Peace out.
This looks like a winner to me! True there is some serious competition but I believe London 2015 is looking positive!
I just hope she gets placed well in the running order, we all know that makes a difference to the results!!
TeamMolly!!
“And whyyyyy do dreams make …..some people Angry ..” 😛 (@Marcelo N)
Armenians say -> “Before jumping over the lake ,do not say HOP ” ..But we not only said HOP , ‘we’ also organized ESC in London xD But why not ? It’s fun …we do 50% of the work 😛 choosing stage and people who will host Lol .
Who do you think should host the Eurovision Song Contest 2015? 1. London 2. Manchester 3. Liverpool 4. Newcastle 5. Belfast 6. Birmingham Who should host it? 1. Dermot O’Leary 2. Caroline Flack 3. Laura Whitmore 4. Amanda Byram 5. Graham Norton 6. Ant and Dec (Funny, huh?) 7. Claudia Winkleman 8. Emma Willis 9. Holly Willoughby 10. Olly Murs 11. Stephen Fry (British Anders Jansson (Melodifestivalen 2014)) 12. Tess Daly 13. Konnie Huq (British Ulla Essendrop) 14. Zoe Ball 15. Nick Grimshaw 16. Davina McCall 17. Fearne Cotton 18. Keith Lemon 19. Rylan Clark 20. George Lamb 21. Matt Richardson… Read more »
Wow wow wow, looks like a lot of counting chickens before they’re hatched! Hold your horses, will ya 😛
Anyway, the song is infectious, and hey did I hear some CRAZY BACKING VOCALS in here?! Those girls can turn this into a real live monster, mark my words!
@Deven O’Kearney no problem 😉
And Daniel Radcliffe ?? 😀 I would not mind, you know ,as a former Potter fan hahah xD I saw him hosting during some American shows and he is definitely good 😉 ..But I think he is busy with new movies ,otherwise Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe would be cool together on the stage xD would bring my childhood back lol .
I can not say anything about others ,as I do not know all of them 😛 So I trust you in this case cuz you know better.
Hi Armenian Guy, Listen sorry I couldn’t get back to you sooner. But yeah this is my preferred choice for presenters for next year’s contest: 1. Dermot O’Leary (Hosts the X Factor UK on ITV. He’s Irish, like me :). ) 2. Laura Whitmore (Presenting Eurovision with Scott Mills on BBC 3. Coincidentally, she’s also Irish. 🙂 ) 3. Amanda Byram (Total Wipeout presenter who I believe is good at languages.) 3. Vernon Kay (Emcees Family Fortunes on ITV.) 4. Claudia Winkleman 5. Holly Willoughby 6. Reggie Yates 7. Emma Willis 8. Davina McCall (She would be like Petra Mede.)… Read more »
I love you Molly!!!
I agree with Deven about Caroline Flack, but I’d partner her up with Scott Mills. I initially thought if we won, Keith Lemon would be good, but I don’t think all of the rest of Europe would get his persona. I think there’s be a few disapproving countries, especially if he mentioned some contestants having “great bangers” or “motting”.
Looks like she nailed it. I kind of wish they would use the strobe lighting they used in her first performance of the song when it was revealed but this is cool too. It’s going to be a fun night next Saturday whatever happens!
Hi Easpag, just one more thing.
”Dermot O’Leary would make the whole show too much like X Factor”
Lise Ronne is hosting it this year and she hosted the X Factor in Denmark and I doubt she will be making it too much like X Factor. Plus, he (Dermot) is GREAT at hosting it, so I would be ECSTATIC if he was one of the hosts. 😀
Its a decent song, but it most definitely won’t win. I’d say it’s between Armenia, Hungary and Sweden.
Hi Easpag
Vernon Kay wouldn’t be a bad choice either. What about Ant and Dec?
This is a veeeery promising performance.
@Deven sorry but most of those presenters are pretty terrible. The only good ones there are Holly, Emma and Laura. Dermot would make the whole show too X-Factorish, and Caroline, Olly and Claudia are far too cringeworthy to host it. Vernon Kay wouldn’t be a bad option, now that I think of it.
Tbh, if the UK win the only person I can see hosting it is Graham Norton.
Its kind of a common song. Anyway, wish you luck!
Like this it looks top 20 for me
Molly 1st place
Sweden 2nd place
Hungary 3rd place
Armenia 4th place
Azerbaijan 5th place
Romania 6th place
Ireland 7th place
Austria 8th place
Spain 9th place
Poland 10th place
Greece 11th place
Norway 12th place
Danemark 13th place
Germany 14th place
Israel 15th place
Italy 16th place
Moldova 17th place
France 18th place
Russia 19th place
Albania 20th place
@Deven O’Kearney
Definitely “The 02” arena (well I want it to be in London ) 😛
And among hosts I know Caroline Flack . She is cool so wht not ? xD
Hmm maybe I know others too but not by name . If you know all of them then tell us which one is better host . 😉
8 points from me 🙂
@Robyn I also thought the same about background. It’s like people are waving . Indeed it’s a nice idea!
Here are a few venues I would consider for 2015: 1. The 02 (London, 20,000 people) 2. Phones 4u Arena (Manchester, 21,000 people) 3. G-Mex (Manchester, 12,300 people) 4. Echo Arena (Liverpool, 15,000 people) 5. The National Indoor Arena (Birmingham, 12,000 people) 6. Wembley Arena (London, 12,500 people) 7. Metro Radio Arena (Newcastle, 11,000 people) Who could host it? 1. Caroline Flack (Hosts Xtra Factor on ITV2) 2. Reggie Yates (Hosted The Voice on BBC 1 2012-13) 3. Holly Willoughby (Hosted The Voice on BBC 1 2012-13) 4. Emma Willis (Hosts Big Brother on C5 AND The Voice) 5. Laura… Read more »
All I needed to see ….. I love the song, love her voice and love simplicity ………. Her winning with such a simple performance would be such a slap in the face for Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Russia, Greece and a few more “everything but the kitchen sink” – ESC nation 🙂
It’s not my favorite song and I didn’t see this as a winner before, but this has some of the winner ora Katrina had back in 97’… a strong catchy tune that very “Eurovision” with a simple yet effective staging. Molly also has that roughness in her voice that Katrina had at the time… London 2015 sounds like a good idea and I wouldn’t mind that happening at all. Gook luck from Israel!
I live in UK and trust me they do fantastic shows ,shame that they never put effort on Eurovision as it should.
Molly deserves to win, definitely! I think UK could produce a beautiful show, really hope it’s gonna be London 2015 🙂
From now on when we see golden rain on stage, we know from now that the song will be the winner….
Eurovision 2015 in London guys thats for sure )
@Liam Thorne
Manchester 2015
Phones4u Arena
Presenters: Olly Murs
Laura Whitmore
Executive Supervisor: Jon Ola Sand
Executive Producer: Pete Waterman
OMG finally they shew her rehearsal ..can not wait to see the full one : O
Definitely deserves to be the winner !!*.* we must have
1.UK
2.Armenia
3.Hungary (not fan of his song but show is good) ,
4.Sweden (again not fan of her song ,however she is favourite ,so I had to put it )
5.Norway
My prediction is that UK is gonna win this year. I actually don’t mind though XD And the winners are mostly my #2, like this year perhaps :p
WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!!
Let’s start thinking about where Eurovision 2015 should be in the UK!
London perhaps?
“She engages with the camera, she smiles” – I am glad about that because she hasn’t in the performances I’ve seen so far
The pyrotechnics are gonna make this feel like a winner even before it’s won. Just like Denmark last year.
