Valentina Monetta, San Marinese goddess and a favourite of the team at wiwibloggs.com, continues to impress us with her evolution. Compared to 2012 when we first met her, her voice is stronger, and so is her English!

Her staging this year is simple and beautiful, and she owns that massive seashell on stage. “I’m alone [on stage] without anything, but just with this big shell like life of mine,” she says. “This is a life and I am love inside, you inside. We have a lot of love inside and compassion. I think about this in Maybe. I’m a very positive…I want to give a very positive message with this song like a pearl. I want to give hope, I want give light. This is wonderful. You have to believe in life, in you.”

We believe in YOU, Valentina!

She is lovely but the song is weak and it’s a non-qualifer on lock. I just hope she dumps Ralph Siegel and tries something different.
