Ruth Lorenzo is full of passion and fire. So we weren’t exactly surprised when she jumped for joy after drawing the desired “Second Half” ticket from the bowl during her press conference earlier today. It was very funny, and made us love the Iberian diva even more.

We want our favourite Eurovision drama queen to make it big, and the second half draw is surely going to help her. So we are hella glad. After her second rehearsal went so well, it’s all up to Ruth now to deliver on the big night! We know she can do it!

Armond, there is nothing selfish about what I said, I gain nothing from the contest except pure enjoyment. The point that others and myself are trying to make is that her reaction would have been completely different if she had drawn first half. She should have been more modest and gracious instead of jumping around like a child. You don’t see anyone else doing that. She’s not going to win anyways so don’t need to stress.

Daniel, speaking of rude, I think you are arrogant and selfish to spread hatred like that. I hope she wins so you can defenestrate yourself.

@ T MAN RELAX!!!!!!!! She did nothing wrong…. All participants know what you just said so She has all the right to express whatever she wants to express… who are you to stop anyone from laughing or crying or whatever?…. besides, blame the organization for having had done it this way! For the same reason and according to your statemente it would be unappropiate for the winner to open a champagne bottle when the winner is announced because it wouldn’t be fair or even offensive for the contestants who might have been feeling sad! You’re talking nonsense …go take a… Read more »

Pfff again drama huh .Her reaction is normal .You would have had the same reaction too .I saw her in X Factor.And I saw how bad she felt when she got to final and others not .Even instead of being happy she was said “Omg I am sorry ..sorry…” .So she definitely is not a rude person.

Oh, people getting a shock at other people who celebrate… I personally saw nothing offensive or even discourteous in her celebration.
Just let Sanna take the trophy, and when the ESC has officially become Norsevision or Euroviking everything will be prim and proper 😉
I’m just imagining some of these commenters’ orgasm… what a treat! “I think I’m drawing closer, dear… Oh, yes… yes, indeed… I’ve come. I have to say this has been a thoroughly pleasurable intercourse.”

Seriously? There’s nothing wrong about her reaction. She just seems genuinely happy. I don’t get why it’s annoying or even unprofessional. Plus, it’s a competition, and performing in the second half should increase her odds of getting a better ranking on the finals night.

What in the hell are you talking about? Which performance did you watch? She was categorically unlikeable and was performing solely to herself. It is a terrible song and I promise she will not draw many televotes.

I seriously hope she gets placed in 14th so that her excitement was for nothing. She’s so rude jumping and screaming like that, how embarrassing. I seriously hope she fails at eurovision, she’s the most overrated act this year.

I have this strong feeling that Sweden could be gettin’ a spot in the first half .. damn it.

@T By your logic, I hope the winner won’t celebrate or express their happiness when they announce it in the final because… how rude for the other 36 countries that didn’t win!
There’s nothing unprofessional in showing your emotions.

@Julian: Not true, All of the big 5 (except for Germany) drew in the 2nd half of the final, Denmark drew for 23rd back in March

@T
Ruth is very expressive, she communicates very well: Big smiles, jumping for joy… She effectively show feelings but she doesn’t offend her mates (or rivals) because she admires them and treat them well.
Her emotions are clear and that’s GREAT! 🙂

if France, Spain, UK are 2nd half… means that Italy, Germany, Denmark are 1st half

Second half is 14-26 Am really glad for France Spain and Uk all drawing 2nd half, out of the big 6 I love these ones most and am glad they all get a good position. I don’t see a problem with her reaction, everyone knows the 2nd half is the desired half and can really make or break you, last time soneone won from the first half was 2004, so please don’t tell me it makes no difference, when for the last decade the winner has always come from the 2nd half. when you get a good result its ok… Read more »

@Dani Madrid

Of course she can be happy, but that was way too much! She obviously knew that performing in the first or second half can make a huge impact and by acting like that, it felt like she was only thinking about herself and not to those who will perform in the first half.

To be honest when i found out the UK was in the second half i whooped and jumped and then when I found SPAIN was also in the second half I did a jump as well… Many people go around hiding their excitement, DONT! Be yourself and jump when happy!

@T To express our feelings and mood is just the way we are, and I don´t think we offend anyone for feeling happy.
I think some people gets annoyed if Ruth just blinks or breath

Kinda unprofessional to act like that. She should show some respect to those who won’t get to perform in the second half.
