Sanna Nielsen and Aram MP3 both took to the stage tonight for the first semi-final, and the bookies clearly preferred the 29-year-old blonde bombshell to the Armenian comedian. That’s right people: Sweden has suddenly surged into 1st place across betting agencies and is the new favourite to win.
Sanna’s odds to win are now at around 2:1, while Aram MP3 is in second with odds between 2 and 3.5:1.
Molly from the UK was stellar in her rehearsal the other day and her odds have continued to narrow, with her now in 3rd at 7:1. Kallay-Saunders from Hungary has taken over Ukraine for 4th with odds between 8 and 10:1, and the Netherlands has suddenly surged into 6th place with odds as low as 10:1. Denmark, Belgium (despite failing to qualify last night!), Austria and Norway round out the Top 10. And good old Georgia is dead last as expected LOL.
What do you think about Sweden’s shift? Did Sanna really work it out tonight? And what about the Netherlands?
