Folks, following the betting agencies could be a full-time job this year, because things keep changing faster than Linda Bengtzing switches outfits on stage!
Following her solid performance in last night’s Semi-Final, Sweden’s Sanna Nielsen is still on top with odds around 1.75 to 2.5:1. Armenia’s Aram MP3 is still clinging to 2nd place, but his odds have widened to as high as 4:1 after an arguably shaky performance last night.
The big surprise is the Netherlands, however. The Common Linnets may have told the Dutch media that they are focused on PR’ing a new album, but they should make sure to focus on their performance on Saturday, because they are now in 3rd with odds as low as 4:1 and only as high as 8:1.
Ukraine has re-emerged as a top favourite, now in 4th with odds hovering between 8 and 9:1.
The UK, Hungary, Denmark, Norway, Austria, and Azerbaijan round out the Top 10.
Do you buy the Netherlands’ sudden surge? And are you still feeling Mariya’s hamster wheel? Is Aram MP3 overrated by staying in 2nd? Let us know what you think!
