They may have achieved France’s lowest Eurovision result ever, but as Twin Twin’s new documentary “Inside Eurovision” shows, there’s so much more to their Copenhagen adventure than that one moment. Beautifully filmed by “Moustache” co-writer and producer Boula, the film is right there with the French trio during their hectic week in Copenhagen.

One thing becomes clear – despite notoriously scoring only those deux points, Twin Twin came to Copenhagen with fun, energy and determination. Throughout their gruelling schedule of interviews, appearances and performances, they always give it 100%. And hey – if you can keep up with the intense rehearsal schedule and win over new fans and flirt with the makeup girls, it’s not all bad.

The film doesn’t dwell too much on the group’s disappointing placing, but there is a sense that while it was sad for the band on the night, they’ve moved on and would rather look back at all the fun stuff. Like François’ massive trouser banana, a personal highlight of the film.

Inside Eurovision is a whole lot of fun and is great viewing if you’re a Twin Twin fan, or just feeling a bit nostalgic for Copenhagen.

I want Russia stop participating in eurovision! Believe me, many people across Europe would love that.

They are adorable. And they absolutely did not deserve such a low placing…

I think the worst thing about Eurovision this year was how party songs (Greece, France) were punished by both jury and voters. I think there needs to be a re-balancing pretty soon, otherwise the show runs the risk of losing its sense of fun, energy and musical diversity.

Dhani stop it. Hope you’re not sick. Russia is the most hated country in Europe. France is among the countries we love the most.

It is clear that they decided to have fun through the entire journey and it seems they achieved that, so while I’m still disappointed about their result (and I’m pretty sure they are as well, nonetheless) at least I’m glad they had the opportunity to enjoy the experience, they genuinely seem like a fun and wacky bunch (:
And oh look! I share something with their sexy male back dancer, even if just the name 😛
