Kia Ora Robyn (You are from New Zealand.) Being someone from Ireland, I know and I am well aware of the economic crisis here. But the truth is, RTE know that there is a huge amount of public interest in Ireland and that immense popularity is reflected in the viewing figures. But, if RTE want to make the Eurovision even more popular in Ireland, they need a fresh approach and I feel that going big in terms of staging, singers and songwriters is the way to go. Plus, everyone knows that if you want to win Eurovision, you have to… Read more »

Hi Robyn No I haven’t looked at the financial side of Eirevision and the songwriters I have suggested. But I am only throwing out suggestions. However, I think that RTE should really put a serious investment into my new show. Also, do you know the way the public broadcasters (Eg: RTE, BBC, SVT) have to pay the EBU to take part in the Eurovision. Well it will be the same for countries watching and voting in Eirevision. Hi Darren, Harry Quinn, Easpag, Padraig, Mickateriyan and RyanIreland

My letter to Michael Kealy regarding Eirevision has been written and NOW…., I only have to print out my work on my Dad’s printer (My Mum doesn’t have one), send it off to RTE and then I am finished and jetting off to Torremolinos next Thursday for 9 days (I’ll blog when I arrive at my hotel.).

Hopefully there will be a letter in the door from RTE when I get home on the 12th of July.
