It is little secret that Team Wiwi nurses serious girl crushes on Margaret Berger and Adelén. The girls are from opposite ends of the blonde spectrum and the dance-music spectrum too. Berger deals in dark and icy electropop, and Adelén fields Latin-flecked club-ready bangers.
So when we heard they’d both be among the headline acts for VG-Listas annual summer tour of Norway we had to get investigating. Adelén appeared on the 20th June at the VG-Lista concert in Oslo and she stole the show. Killer choreography and her World Cup smash ‘Olé’ warmed up the crowd and her tasselled dress brought the Brazilian carnival to the Norweigan stage.
Margaret followed up on the second date at Trondheim on the 2nd of July and performed her 2013 entry ‘I Feed You My Love’ and ‘Scream’.
Carl Espen will appear in Bergen on 16th July and international popstars including Katy B, Rita Ora and Cody Simpson will also take to the stage throughout the tour.
