The team at wiwibloggs have loved Lena Meyer-Landrut ever since she stormed to victory at Eurovision 2010 in Oslo, giving psychotic obsession rhythm with her song “Satellite”. We loved her even more when she made her back-up dancers squeeze into those oversized condoms before she was taken by a stranger in Dusseldorf at Eurovision 2011. And now that she has joined the iconic list of L’Oréal girls, Team Wiwi are falling in love again—and are headed to the nearest cosmetics aisle…

Meyer-Landrut has fronted two Casting Crème Gloss campaigns and landed the German-language market contract for Skin Perfection, L’Oréal’s first skincare product targeted at improving skin quality.

Not content with just those shoots to her name, Lena announced via her Facebook and Instagram accounts that today she’s shooting her latest campaign for them.

She hasn’t forgotten all about the music though: she’s mentored young people aged 8-14 through The Voice Kids for a second season and she’s been jet-setting around the world – including stops in London, Berlin and Los Angeles – to work on her new LP with producers and songwriters including Kat Vinter and Rosi Golan.

Keep on werking girl, Team Wiwi salute you!

Lena is fast becoming Germany’s answer to Cheryl Cole because she is the poster girl for L’oreal and she can sing. Before we know it, Lena might become a judge on the German X Factor or something.

lena is already a very successful act in germany, getting contracts with big companies and in general she’s one of the fewest relevant eurovision winners

Thank you for your new post about Lena. At begin of the year Lena spent also some time in New York to meet Bosko Live (?).

I’m waiting hard to listen her new songs. 😀

Next week in Germany we can buy a line of nail finish designed by Lena …
