Surf, sand and sun: Kurt Calleja celerates summer with Vertigo

About a month ago we told you about Kurt Calleja filming the video for his new single Vertigo. Well now it’s all ready for us to enjoy. It really blasts the sunshine, so you better put on some SPF 30!

The video shows Kurt and his friends spending a day by the ocean. They end up at a party around a campfire and beneath a beautiful sunset. There’s a lot happening: from watersports to a boat party to men in tank tops and women in bikinis, it’s all about sun and fun. But it’s also a sweet love story between Kurt and his beautiful co-star—Miss Malta 2014.

The song itself is a great up-tempo summer track with a catchy chorus. Electronic Dance Music really suits Kurt’s style, and builds nicely on the sense of Maltese cool he’s been laying down. Kurt also shows some versatility with the song, as it’s totally different from his previous singles ‘Love On Mars’ and his Eurovision track ‘This Is The Night’
