Earlier today junioreurovision.tv revealed that Federica Falzon, Malta’s Junior Eurovision contestant, will unveil her “emotional” song imminently. Well now wiwibloggs is pleased to follow-up with an exclusive extract of the text. Yes, we have the lyrics!
Speaking exclusively to wiwibloggs, lyricist Matt Muxu Mercieca revealed that the song talks about how Federica will find her “way out of the storm” and how “together we can all shine, like diamonds in the sky!” Who doesn’t love a bit of inspiration?
Gillian Attard, Federica’s vocal coach and the genius behind Malta’s La Voix music academy, says that this song gives her shivers every time she hears it. Those shivers are similar to the ones Federica gave all of Italy as she glided through the various stages of reality show “Ti Lascio una Canzone”.
Written by Muxu with music by Attard and Elton Zarb, this song has all the right ingredients to guarantee Malta a second straight year of success.
What’s the title of the song you ask? Well, it seems that Malta are going to think this through, and they will take their time…just like they took their time to host a Eurovision Event in Malta! However, sources close to the songwriters tell us it is not going to be called “Emotional”.

I think Malta wants to be a competive country in ESC overall, since their NF is really early. I think Malta will be in the top 10 again next year. And of course their persumable wish to win JESC twice in a row 😛
Wowzers. Malta is most definitely on the way to another phenomenal victory in Junior Eurovision. If they do win again, I hope they choose the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre in Valetta. It can hold up to 10,000 people.
