The second season of the Finnish version of The Voice Kids started last night, and there are a couple of familiar Eurovision faces among the coaches. Finland’s Eurovision 2013 representative Krista Siegfrids coached her team member to the win last year and sits on the red chair for the second time now. She’s joined by Finnish Idol winner and UMK 2013 finalist Diandra who debuted on the show last night. The third coach is Finnish singer-songwriter Arttu Wiskari.

Fifteen-year-old Molly Rosenström won the first season of The Voice Kids last year. Could she wave the Finnish flag at ESC in the years ahead?

During last night’s season premier, Diandra and Krista each collected two young talents for their teams. Twelve-year-old Helmi Hollström amazed all the coaches with her version of Eurovision winner Abba’s “Thank You for the Music“. Diandra snagged this little star for her team. The search for the next Finnish teen star will continue next Thursday.

Molly would be a great Finnish representative and can definitely bring the contest to Finland if she sends a song like “If I Ever Grow Up”. She’s only turning 16 in July so she can’t do this year but maybe ESC 2016?
