Rita Ora, the Kosovar-British diva who attempted to represent the United Kingdom at Eurovision 2009, has been named a judge and coach for the fourth series of The Voice UK. Rita will replace Australian blonde bombshell Kylie Minogue on the panel alongside Ricky Wilson, will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones. We really hope that she can fill Kylie’s super high high heels!

Rita is pretty enthused.

So excited to be part of – and for my team to win – The Voice this series!

We really hope your dreams come true Rita! We really do.

Anyways, until the series starts, you can listen to her collaboration with Iggy Azalea, entitled Black Widow.

Love Rita Ora. A really good vocalist … she may be compared to that what’s-her-name-really? .. yeah Rihanna for some bizarre twist of dumbness, but unlike Rihanna, Rita can hold a note properly and LIVE. Everything else you all may have against this girl, I don’t give a s*** because mostly it has to do with things not-related to music. Mike, I’d say she’s doing very well. VERY. You can hardly say she’s flopped at all, you idiot.

I wish she’d tried to rep us in 2010, would have been amazing. Having said that, Dusseldorf 2011 was my fave ESC ever (except for who won), so I’m glad Lena won in ’10!!!

The best thing that never happened for the UK. Don’t matter though, we got a top 5 placing that year! 🙂 probably best for her career!

A bit of a tenuous link to Eurovision. In the UK she isn’t remembered for Eurovision. She made a career for herself. You ask a Rita Ora fan, and they propably wont know about her audition.
