It’s all change in Sweden! Earlier this week, Swedish broadcaster SVT confirmed changes to the Andra Chasen (eliminating the second round of duels) and raising the total number of acts in the Final from 10 to 12. Today, SVT announced the cities for next year’s Melodifestivalen. The tour will add two new stops. Choo choooo!

As well as the regular stops in Gothenburg, Malmö and Stockholm, SVT welcomes Östersund, which will host the second semi-final, and Helsingborg, which will host the newly changed Andra Chansen round. As usual, the Friends Arena in Stockholm will host the Final.

Maybe next year, SVT should change Malmo & Gothenburg, as well. Just for the sake of diversity.
