Vincenzo Cantiello,  Italy’s Junior Eurovision 2014 singer, has revealed his ballad “Tu primo grande amore”. It showcases his vocals and range, and will likely have young girls swooning across Europe.

This miniature-sized tenor already demonstrated his stellar vocals on the Italian TV show ‘Ti lascio una canzone’, and he’s doing it again. This song seems like it’ll do particularly well with the juries as it’s a bit more grown-up and mature than the more sugary competition.

Vincenzo Cantiello — “Tu primo grande amore”

“Tu primo grande amore” lyrics

È cambiato tutto ora che ci sei
Tu così importante dentro i sogni miei…
E’ così speciale stare insieme a te
Quasi non ci credo e non so perché…

Lo sai,non posso più aspettare…
Ti voglio bene, lo devo dire…

Io, non so fare a meno
Dei tuoi occhi dentro i miei
Del tuo cuore quando batte forte
Batte forte insieme al mio…
Tu, primo grande amore
Non ci lasceremo mai
Tu, il sorriso delle mie carezze
Tu che illumini per me…
La notte…

Perché non siamo già più grandi…?!
Fuori dai banchi di questa scuola…

You are my very first love
I will never let you go,
Perché c’è qualcosa che mi dice
Che mai più sarà così…

You are my very fisrt love
I will never let you go

Sei Tu il sorriso delle mie carezze
Tu il mio solo primo e grande
Amore

I didn’t see the name of Bulgaria in your suggestions but Chrisya, Hasan and and Ibrahim have shown to all of you what they can do! I don’t think that it is a fairplay to ignore some participants. Bulgaria is a small country but there are many talents.

I liked the song. Had vibes to 90s Italian music in eurovision.

Unfortunately, the deadline came and passed and Moldova and Azerbaijan are officially out of the contest this year.

He has a big voice, and his song has some really cool moments. The start is great, but it doesn’t flow easily and comes out as a bit boring.

Great talent, but for me it’s rather weird when a teenage boy singing a heartfelt lyrics about mature love.

@Yudhistira: I don’t think the contest should be based on gender, it should be focused heavily on the song and the talent. Whether it’s boy or girl, whoever has it all should win the whole thing. But I do agree this boy has a nice voice.

That means, for a single boy among 15 girls, Vincenzo must win! That’s until Denis from Moldova came to be in competition.

My new top 12:
1. Italy
2. Sweden
3. The Netherlands
4. Georgia
5. Serbia
6. Cyprus
7. Belarus

So far, Vincenzo is the only male singer in this year’s JESC, until Azerbaijan and Moldova confirmed their participation… with Rustam and Denis, respectively.
