Spain: Ruth Lorenzo releases lyric video for Renuncio (I quit)

Earlier this morning we sang the praises of Ruth Lorenzo’s lyric video for “Planeta Azul”. Well now we’re singing loud for another single from Ruthie: “Renuncio”! That means “I Quit”, but it’s obvious that Ruth isn’t quitting when it comes to becoming a global superstar. The song is catchy, has an infectious beat, and builds to an anthemic chorus. It makes us want to get up and fist-pump. In terms of content it’s about a woman torn between what she and her ex shared—and the reality that they are now splits. Living with a joyous memory can be such a downer: “I already know I should erase you, but I quit, I quit…I’d rather feel the pain and know that you existed.” We’ve all been there babe. Thanks for giving our sentiments such rhythm!
