Spain’s annual Premios Ondas Awards presentation took place in Barcelona last night, and we were overjoyed when the jury announced that the Eurovision Song Contest received the award for Best International TV Production!
This was given for the broadcast of the Grand Final, hosted by Danish broadcaster DR. This year’s contest was held at the B&W Hallerne and was presented by Nikolaj Koppel, Lise Rønne and Borgen star Pilou Asbæk.
Founded in 1954, the Premios Ondas Awards receives entries from more than 20 countries every year. The awards are given out in recognition of outstanding professionals and companies for works in radio, radio advertising, television and music.
