Croatia’s Josie sings that “everything is a game,” and boy does she know how to play it! During her first rehearsal this morning she unveiled staging that fits perfectly with her song “Game Over.” The LED displays show geometric shapes that remind us of 1980s video games (and digital scenes from The Matrix). Her voice has a distinct timbre, which fits well with the notion of gaming. During the chorus it’s almost like she is a computerized narrator guiding us along. A pair of dancers flank her on either side and help keep the act moving with some maja street dancing. Josie is adorable and this performance makes us say “awwwww.” Well done, Zagreb!
