Federica Falzon, the rising opera star from Malta, has one of the biggest voices we’ve ever heard. She’s still a child but already has Chiara’s voice and Pavorotti’s presence. Despite all her talent, she says she only realized her gifts recently. “It was two years ago when I started going to vocal lessons with my singing teacher Gillian Attard,” she told us at the Junior Eurovision 2014 Welcome Party. “She’s helped me very much.”

The “Diamonds” singer also told us that she doesn’t actually own much jewelery, that she’s happy to perform in spot #15, and that singing on home soil reduces any pressure she might feel: “I think it’s easier because you have much support and know your country is there.”

Good luck, Federica!
