During our recent interview at the Opening Party, Georgia’s Lizi Pop told us that her song is all about making people happy. She did just that during her first rehearsal at Junior Eurovision 2014. Lil’ Miss Japaridze stands centre stage surrounded by four ballerinas, who spin and split and move like they were born to dance. Lizi’s vocals were as stellar as always—she’s putting some major power behind ’em! The LED screen draws on ultra cartoon style graphics: massive stars in a purple-blue sky, green fields, and a massive orange butterfly. Towards the end of the song Lizi drops to her knees at the front of the stage rock star style and puts the mic out to the people. There is a big pop star inside this little Georgian. Adorbs. We have a strong feeling this is going to do very well: she’s got the voice for the juries and the staging for the kids voting at home.
