Italy’s Vincenzo Cantiello avenged his loss to Malta’s Federica Falzon from Italian singing contest “Ti lascio una canzone” by defeating her and 14 other contestants in the final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014. were in the Arena and filmed this shaky video of his encore performance from inside the Malta Shipyard Building. He’s a deserving Junior Eurovision winner, and we’re so pleased for him. Perhaps having a Big 5 nation win will help lure back the likes of the UK, Spain, France, and Germany?

Italy was my favorite since Day…whenever it was announced and despite its low placings in fan polls. Congrats Italia!
The good news about Italy winning is that it may further strengthen the odds of San Marino returning despite an unfortunate placing tonight. Disappointed also there was no confetti or something of that nature during the reprise.
